SERVE YOUR SWEET TOOTH WITH THESE FALL FAVORITES
Saddle up that sweet tooth; it's time to serve our sweeter side! There's something about fall that fills me with this excitement to make... and eat baked goods. I don't know if I bake because I want to eat or eat because I want to bake...but it's a tasty cycle! This year, the first leaf fell and I went straight for my apron and began checking off my fall baking bucket list.
The best part about baking is creating something that other people enjoy (including myself) and gather around. Sweets are the perfect partner to a cup of coffee, afternoon book, bible study, movie night, and dinner party. There's always a reason to get out my mixing bowls and spatula, which is why I've made this decadent list! I'm making the classics and mixing up a few surprises too!
THE BEST, THE EASY, & THE VEGAN
I’ve created a list of both regular and vegan tailored recipes. I’m not vegan, but many of my friends and family are, the vegan recipes are some of my favorite too! ( I find a lot of my favorite recipes on The Minimalist Baker – the recipes are made with gluten-free and vegan ingredients but easy substitutions can be made too!) My favorite recipe on the bucket list is the Pumpkin Cheesecake! If you love pumpkin pie or cheesecake (that’s just about everyone) this is for you! My husband doesn’t like pumpkin pie but loves cheesecake and he single-handedly ate half of this delicious cake … It’s sooo creamy and packs the perfect pumpkin punch! I (admittedly ate at least a third…no regrets!) It’s also a fun and pretty way to mix up the dessert table.
The two easiest recipes on my bucket list are the Blackberry, Pear and Rosemary Gallete and Pumpkin Twist. You need one bowl to mix up the fillings and in the oven they go!
